About Me
I’m Leili Kamali, a UX Designer with a multidisciplinary background in art, technology, and customer experience. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Art History and later completed the UX/UI Design Immersive program at General Assembly.
My interest in technology began earlier in college while studying engineering, where I became fascinated by solving problems and creating products that could positively impact people. After transitioning into Art History, I continued exploring my interest in technology and design by taking UX-focused courses and becoming involved in UX design clubs on campus. Studying art strengthened my understanding of visual communication, human behavior, culture, and storytelling, while my UX experiences introduced me to user-centered research and digital product design.
Throughout college, I also worked as a Retail Sales Consultant at AT&T, where I gained firsthand experience understanding customer behaviors, identifying pain points, and finding solutions that balanced user needs with business goals.
UX design became the natural intersection of these experiences. It allows me to combine empathy and customer insight, visual design, research, and analytical problem-solving to create experiences that are both meaningful to users and valuable to businesses.
